Best Careers of 2011

Last December, The U.S. News and World Report released their 50 Best Careers of 2011 list, containing high-opportunity jobs to consider in the next year. The list is made up of jobs that have high-growth predictions over the next decade, a high median salary and high job satisfaction. Some careers on the list are continually in need and have remained on the list for years, while others are reflective of the recovering economy.

Technology jobs such as computer software engineers, computer support specialists and network architects made the list of top careers, due to the increasing need of people in technical roles and upward trending employment numbers.
