Meet our New President/CEO!

Our Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Tina Hamilton as Michigan Community Credit Union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.

Michigan Community Credit Union Board Chairman Vic Marshall said, "The leadership shown by Tina Hamilton during the Interim CEO position made it an easy decision for the Board of Directors to make her the permanent CEO of Michigan Community Credit Union. The Board of Directors is very proud of Tina and of the great team of Senior Executives and Staff that make the Michigan Community Credit Union one of the finest financial institutions in southern Michigan."

Tina Hamilton joined our Credit Union in 1999, and has served in several different capacities over the years. In 2011, she took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at the $121 million Jackson based Credit Union, which serves 16,000 members through four branches. She served as Interim CEO since June, 2013.
Tina is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She also acquired the Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation from CUNA Management School in 2013. A strong advocate for Credit Unions, Tina serves as Treasurer for the Jackson Chapter of Credit Unions. She also has been involved in the Future Leaders Committee with the Michigan Credit Union League, served on the Conference Committee, as well as the Regulatory Committee, with the CUNA CFO Council, and she is a past graduate of the local Leadership Academy through the Jackson Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jackson County.

Hamilton said, "I am honored to be selected as CEO and am so pleased to be leading the Michigan Community Credit Union team. Our 78 years of success are attributed to the strength and talent of our entire team combined with the confidence our members have in Michigan Community Credit Union to provide them with creative, competitive, and trusted financial solutions. I look forward to building on our tradition of people helping people today and long into the future.”
