Michigan Community Credit Union Announces Youth Account Winners

We encourage kids to save and manage their money by establishing an account in one of their three youth account programs.  Each of the three programs, Johnny Appleseed for ages 0-12, Cha-Ching for ages 13-17, and The Edge for ages 18-24, includes a Rewards Program where youth members receive a stamp on reward card for every deposit made into their savings account. After six stamps, their card is entered into an annual drawing for a chance to win cash and prizes! There is no limit to the number of cards stamped and placed into the drawing.

We are pleased to announce that the winners of this year’s youth account punch card prizes are Amanda Trudell, Michael Powell, and Adam Elsherbiny. Each youth member received a $100 gift card. “We enjoy rewarding our youth members for being consistent depositors,” said Jessica Webb, Education and Communications Specialist. “Our youth programs are all absolutely free and are designed to help educate youth about the importance of saving money and developing good spending habits. They provide the tools necessary to take the first step toward financial independence and properly manage personal finances for a lifetime.”

Eligibility for the drawings included current and new youth members, and all prizes were compliments of the Credit Union. We would like to thank the grand prize winners and all youth members who participated in the annual youth Reward Card promotion. Congratulations!
